Dot Day

Knovation celebrates International Dot Day

We made our marks! International Dot Day was a huge success this year!  The celebration actually happens every year on September 15, as innovative educators around the world participate with activities and time to encourage their students' creativity. There have been wonderful stories about the “outside-the-box” activities educators invented for their students.  This year we encouraged our grown-up kids at Knovation to “make their mark” in new and exciting ways!

Enjoy our video about inspiring creativity in the classroom with renowned graphic artist Art Hasinski

Also, check out how artist Peter Reynolds and the book “The Dot” have inspired creativity and innovation here at Knovation in this great post from Director of Professional Learning, Lynn Ochs.

Dot Day here at Knovation, our staff showing off our signed books from Peter Reynolds!

Love the video Art and Dawn!  Thank you for the great reminder about the importance of creativity and innovation. I especially liked Art's reminder about never saying in front of our students that we are not creative! Your Top 10 hit the mark too!
