Steve has been researching, designing, and developing effective technology solutions in one way or another since his first programming class in high school. He has worked in a variety of roles that have helped shaped his passion for education technology:
A proud native of Chicago (Go Bears!), where I met my lovely wife, Vanessa, I call West Chester, OH home now. With three active boys who share my love of sports, there's never a lack of energy in our home. After studying as an engineer and working as a corporate systems consultant, I rededicated my talents to increasing the effectiveness of education technology. My passion lies in using technology as an enabler and equalizer, creating personalized learning experiences for all.
Fun Fact: I call myself an “engineer” turned “educator”.

Melissa is only just beginning her career at Knovation and, aside from Mondays, she's loving every minute of it! Before graduation hurled her into the real world, Melissa interned and did project work with several Dayton-area companies including the Downtown Dayton Partnership, The Berry Company, and Five Rivers MetroParks. Melissa has thoroughly enjoyed the wide array of projects she's had the opportunity to work on as Marketing Coordinator, notably, heading up all email communications and assisting with campaigns and promotions.
Outside of work Melissa likes to work out, go out and occasionally cook/bake/decorate a delicious cake or two for her coworkers to enjoy.
Fun Fact: Melissa strives to come up with unique and clever Halloween costumes every year – last year she costumed up as a baked potato while her boyfriend was dressed as a steak.
