Welcome to Know New Ideas, a new form of connected learning. Here at Knovation, we are excited to help educators create information and engage in 21st century learning experiences as a model for how to deliver on the promise of personalized learning in classrooms across the nation.
Connecting and learning in communities of practice is highly recommended by the United States Department of Education for all educators and is becoming more readily accepted by the educator community as a key driver for digital transformations at the classroom, school and district levels.

Consolidate your efforts and the time you spend with social media and tools to share your ideas… your profile page integrates with Facebook and Twitter by letting you post status updates to all three networks at once.
Start A Discussion
Whether it's a burning question that you know other educators in the community can answer or you just want to get ideas and opinions about a topic, your profile page will let you put that conversation in motion and help you track responses to your discussions and questions.
Tweet or Post Your Comments Out of the Community
As you are adding your ideas to comments, discussions or blogs from the community, be sure to use the "Share On" featue that lets you add your idea and a link to the original topic in Facebook and Twitter – this will get more educators aware and interested in joining the conversation.

An important part of becoming a connected, more effective and more relevant educator is having a safe, educator only area to focus on connecting to other educators. Our community offers the ability to become friends with other educators and ensure that you aren't having to weed through non-educator contacts or seperate your personal contacts from the conversations like other networks.

Your digital home — the My Ideas link within the Welcome box will take you to your profile page and let you personalize your space
Use Photos
People in the community want to know what other educators look like. We encourage you to add a photo to your profile page. Also, loading a few photos will help others know more about your ideas and interests.
Write a Blog
Are you passionate about something and want to let everyone know? Have you been thinking about increasing your online presence and upgrading your skills for using online tools and strategies? Your profile page offers you the ability to start your own blog – one that can be shared with others either via the Facebook/Twitter share functions OR by giving others your blog URL.
Add Apps
Your profile page gives you the ability to move and delete items so you see what you want to see as well as add apps from the ning partners. There are apps that help you be more productive, more informed or even more fun… check them out soon.
