The Arkansas Department of Education has purchased a two year subscription to netTrekker for every public school teacher in Arkansas. Help us spread the word to fellow teachers around the state!
A state-wide CIV is scheduled for September 3 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. (Contact your local education service cooperative if you have any questions.) Anyone who wants to know about netTrekker and its potential should plan to attend this overview!
TIME is a precious commodity for educators. We think this tool will help teachers locate powerful resources as they plan instruction for their students. There are many facets to netTrekker, so we hope you will take time to explore for yourself.
netTrekker Village will provide educators from across Arkansas an opportunity to share ideas and have professional, honest conversations. Let's take advantage of the technology to work together!
Margaret Mead once said, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
Do you know who in our district would have received information about login procedures?
We have purchased Atomic Learning for district and use the IP addresses range for logging in on campus.
It works great. I hope we can do the same with Nettrekker.
Hope to see you at TICAL later this week,
George, the email went to superintendents, principals, etc. I will email you the info directly. I agree with you about the IP addresses. If I were in a district, that's what I would do. WE can't do that across the state, but each district can request that. Leslie Peterson is the person you need to contact to get that set up. Yes, I'll see you later this week. Have a good one! Teresa
Teresa, I've met you with Karli at the TICAL meetings, and I'm very excited to be a part of netTrekker. I'm at Cross County School District as a Instructional Technologist and we are doing some great things here. I hope to add more to the discussions as the year goes on. This is a great opportunity for our students and staff using this tool.
