What do you want?

What do you want out of your learning communities? What type of discussions, resources and events are you looking for? How can we make netTrekker Village a place that you come back to more often to connect with others?
I noticed that the webinar for SMART with MaryAnn quickly got responses. The discussion on Authentic Learning for a chance to win the CyberSmart Seat got quick responses. So tell me what was it about these two items that really grabbed your attention, what other webinars you would like to see offered, and what would entice you to come back.

I jumped on the SMART webinar and registered a colleague also because our county is very involved with both NetTrekker and SMART resources. I thought that this would be a good way for us to collaborate.

Other ideas? What about a webinar on resources for online safety? Although we encourage NetTrekker use, we all know that kids will go elsewhere too. They will also be social networking. A collection of resources would be great to share with media specialists and teachers.

Great idea on the safety! I'll see if I can get one of those scheduled with our partner CyberSmart. I did a Social Networking Session, but no one showed. It was about Twitter, Facebook, Ning, and other great places to network as a professional. I'll be glad to reschedule it.

What type of resources? Maybe a Portfolio Project already complete and ready to go? Something to base future ideas off of?

I really like the webinars focusing on the highlights for the upcoming months. Any ideas on when the one about the month of February will be?
