Started as a pilot for the Classroom of the Future (now known as ITEC), Richland Two implemented a 1:1 computing initiative which implemented several solutions including netTrekker Search, a safe Internet search engine specifically designed to support differentiated instruction. Focusing on ways to help students become savvy evaluators of informationo, teachers used netTrekker to incorporate 21st Century Skills into daily instruction. netTrekker ensures the accuracy of the content and gives students the opportunity to use real-world search skills in a safe and controlled environment. Students use netTrekker Search for research and project based learning.
